Dr. Zakariya Al Balushi is a board-certified infectious disease consultant and head of the infectious diseases unit at the Royal Hospital in Oman. He graduated from the College of Medicine at Sultan Qaboos University and completed his internal medicine residency at Oman Medical Specialty Board and has Arab Board in Medicine. He completed his international fellowship in infectious disease from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland (RCPI).
Dr. Al Balushi is passionate about providing quality care to patients with infectious diseases. He is also committed to teaching and research, and Hhe has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a valuable asset to the Royal Hospital and to the medical community in Oman.
