Diabetic Foot Course 12-15 November 2023 Muscat.
This unique multidisciplinary course has been designed to provide an
innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in Diabetic
Foot Disease primarily in the areas of prevention, infection, and Osteomyelitis, Charcot
Foot, and Offloading. Global Diabetic Foot Course 2023 will cover the latest scientific
developments both findings from research and clinical insights important to everybody’s
daily practice.

discuss the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity problems in diabetes.

GDFC is a 4 days course 12-15 November. Global DFC is the premier, interdisciplinary diabetic foot course in GCC. In its 5th year, the course is designed for the wide spectrum of generalists and specialists who diagnose and manage the diabetic foot. Didactic talks, Video Presentation, Clinical case discussion, and Hands-on workshops will delve into diagnostic and interventional strategies for diabetic foot ulcers and amputation prevention and Management. The 2017 Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group Consensus
A group of international experts met in March 2017 to discuss the issue of
infection in DFUs. It
set out to:
Identify the key challenges of treating DFU infection in the Gulf region
Provide the first ever guidance for the management of DFU infection tailored
specifically for
care in the region
Provide clinicians with a practical educational tool that can easily be
absorbed into their
practice and facilities.
The current Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group in collaboration with Wound International launch Diabetic Foot journal Middle East. The first free and bespokeonline journal for this region. It is a platform for clinicians to share best practice and experiences, providing up-to-date practice-based articles and a forum for discussion and tools for education to help healthcare professionals involved in the care of the diabetic foot.
