Mounia Mustafa Sabasse is a wound care and diabetic foot specialist with extend training and 12 years’ experience in wound, stoma and diabetic foot. Currently she is a UAE representative in International Working Groupon Diabetic Foot - IWGDF. Mounia is the founder and President ofGulf Diabetic foot working group GDFWG.She has completed post graduate Course in Wound Care Course, from Toronto University Canada she complete her MSC in skin integrity skill and treatment UK. Has completed many international accredited courses on wound care and diabetic foot. She has great passion for wound care which leads her to be the first proposed the wound care and diabetic foot clinic. She co-coordinates a Multidisplinary wound care team in multispecialty in tertiary hospital. She has been project leader in diabetic foot prevention Programme in Rashid hospital. She presented in many international and local conferences, and she published in international wound care journal; she is the organizer of the first to five diabetic foot conference in Dubai and Head of Scientific Committee for Gulf Diabetic Foot Conference .Mounia launched the first Middle east Diabetic Foot Journal in collaboration with Wound International .
